What are the types of watches? (2)

In the previous article, what are the types of watches? (1)", we introduced 6 different types of watches. Next, we divided the mainstream watches on the market into the following two types according to the different oscillators used in the watches:
1. Mechanical watch: a clock adjusted by a mechanical oscillator.
(1) Manual mechanical watch: It adopts a hand-wound movement. By turning the head of the watch, the mainspring of the movement is fully wound.
(2) Automatic mechanical watch: The self-winding movement is driven by the weight of the oscillating weight inside the movement, but the swing of the arm wearing the watch will drive the oscillating weight to rotate, and at the same time drive the main spring in the watch to wind the watch and drive the time.
2. Quartz watch: a watch adjusted by an electronic oscillator-quartz oscillator.
(1) Digital quartz electronic watch: a watch that combines the piezoelectric effect of quartz crystal and bipolar liquid crystal display, and its functions are completely completed by electronic components.
(2) Pointer quartz watch: The energy of the quartz watch comes from a silver oxide button battery. After the silver oxide button battery provides a specific voltage to the integrated circuit,
The crystal vibrator is oscillated by the oscillating circuit and the quartz resonator to form an oscillating circuit source. The electrical signal output from the oscillating circuit enters the frequency division circuit to generate a pulse signal after frequency division, and then the pulse signal output by the narrow pulse circuit enters the drive circuit to be amplified and forms an alternately changing bidirectional pulse signal to drive the stepping motor. Intermittent rotation further drives the transmission wheel train so that the hands can accurately display the time.
(3) Automatic quartz watch: It combines the advantages of an automatic mechanical watch and a quartz watch. It does not require a battery, and the wearer can choose to wind it manually or recharge it automatically. Its electronic quartz device makes it more accurate, with a monthly error of fewer than ten seconds. Its operating principle is to use the dancing of the arm to drive the oscillating weight inside the watch to generate energy to drive the internal micro-motor into energy, thereby providing sufficient power for the quartz device in the watch, and the excess power will be stored by the micro-capacitor for backup. When the watch is fully charged, it can work continuously for more than 9 days without wearing the watch on the wrist.
(4) Photodynamic energy watch: the first choice is to convert light energy into electrical energy through solar chips and store the electrical energy in a recyclable titanium-lithium-ion rechargeable battery, and then the electrical energy emitted by the battery is generated by an integrated circuit. Generate magnetic force to drive the stepping motor, convert electric energy into kinetic energy, drive the gear to rotate, and drive the pointer to indicate the time, after fully charged, it can run for about 40-180 days in the dark, and the travel time is accurate.
